Weeks into the New Decade, disappointingly, we have little signal from the shiny new government of the promise to address the challenges of social care. However, what we have been given this year is an additional challenge with no indication of how providers are going to meet it!

Annual Social Care Reception: Celebrating Social Care
Once again we were delighted to have the opportunity to host members and supporters of National Care Association at the House of Commons for Afternoon Tea.

Hospice UK manages a bursary programme, funded by the Wolfson Foundation, that supports education training for care home staff relating to end of life care.
As well as university accredited palliative care courses, courses include:
- European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care
- European Certificate in Holistic Dementia Care
- City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 – Award in Awareness of End of Life Care and Award in Awareness in Dementia
- Sage and Thyme Facilitators Train the Trainer Course
