Adult Social Care Investing in Graduates
We are working to build a sustainable talent pipeline for adult social care by investing in graduates with the values and potential to lead the future workforce.
The Department of Health continues to support our programme as a key investment in the growing sector, aiming to raise the profile of adult social care as a career of choice for top university leavers.
Skills for Care, home of the National Skills Academy for Social Care, has undertaken a significant review and refresh of the offer for both graduates and social care employers and is now seeking innovative host organisations for this year’s programme.
The 12 month placements must be challenging, offer real responsibilities and provide the opportunity for trainees to demonstrate a significant return on investment.
For further information about the programme and how to apply, prospective host organisations can visit our website or contact Harriet Phillips to set up an initial discussion. Please note that discounted placements will be available for micro and small enterprises to ensure that the programme continues to reflect the diversity of our sector.
In the meantime, thank you for your support. As always, we would be immensely grateful if you could help us spread the word by sharing this information through your networks.
