13:30pm - 14:30pm

CQC Inspection Reports and their corresponding Ratings can significantly affect the commercial viability and reputation of a Provider. In the current environment, where ‘risk’ is a trigger for inspection there has been a significant increase in the number of locations rated ‘Requires Improvement’ and ‘Inadequate’ this year. In fact, a physical inspection is only likely to occur because a concern has been flagged.
Providers have 10 working days to respond to a draft CQC inspection report. It is even more important that Providers use this short window carefully to put together its Factual Accuracy Comments response where they disagree with the CQC’s findings.
In this Masterclass, Gemma and Oliver will consider the Factual Accuracy Comments Process and what Providers should be considering when they receive a draft inspection report.
We will consider:
- The Factual Accuracy Comments (“FAC”) Process itself
- How the FAC Process starts even before a draft report is received
- The types of challenges that can be made to a draft inspection report
- How robust evidence is essential to a FAC Process
