Registration is open for our next Care Home Webinar, this time on Plate Presentation in Care Home meal times. This session will take place on Thursday 1st October at 2pm.

Our webinar will be hosted by apetito Head Chef - Phil Rimmer and our Key Account Manager - Dean Miller. Dean has over 25 years’ experience as a chef in both the Navy and in commercial kitchens. Phil has been the apetito Head Chef for the past 15 years and has overseen our product development and innovation. His experience prior apetito includes being Head Chef at the prestigious Woolley Grange Hotel near Bath.

The aim of this session is to provide catering teams, chefs and cooks working in a care home with information on the benefits of great plate presentation and practical examples of what they can do to enhance the experience for residents. By the end of this session you should be able to:

• Understand the importance of great plate presentation and the benefits it has upon the health and well-being of residents
• How plate presentation impacts CQC regulation 14
• The planning, preparation and equipment required to achieve exceptional plate presentation
• Practical examples on how to improve plate presentation within your home
