Low Pay Commission Visits

Once again the Low Pay Commission is embarking on series of visits to areas across the UK to gather evidence on the National Minimum Wage (NMW) and low pay. They would like your assistance in helping to identify specific employers and workers that our Commissioners can meet with as part of this process.

Details of the proposed dates and locations for our visits are as follows:

Sunderland - 19-20 April 2016

Hereford and Worcestershire - 11-12 May 2016

Northern Ireland (Derry) - 8-10 June 2016

Dundee and Angus - 5-7 July 2016

A message from the Chairman…

This year we are particularly interested in evidence on the likely impact of the National Living Wage (NLW) applicable for workers aged 25 and over. Our full remit from Government this year is as follows:
